If I reconstitute a 30 mg vial with 1 mL of sterile water for injection, what concentration do I end up with?

What I have: 30 mg · 1 mL · sterile water for injection.

This should be a straightforward calculation and I keep getting two different answers.

The numbers are arbitrary; the method is what I am after.

What is the general form of this calculation?
